Oitavos Dunes
Designed in 2001 by the renowned golf course architect, Arthur Hills, the Oitavos Dunes is considered one of the best golf courses at the moment. Positioned in 65th place in the prestigious Top 100 by Golf Magazine 2013, it ranks number one in Portugal.

The planning of the golf course involved the preservation of the delicate ecosystem of the dunes on which it sits. The Oitavos Dunes is the first golf course in Europe and second in the world to get the Gold Signature Sanctuary status, a quality certificate awarded by Audubon International, in recognition of the highest level of conservation. All1 8 holes of this field offer stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and of Sintra.
