Redesigned by Cameron & Powell, the golf course of Vidago Palace Hotel is a classic 9 holes Mackenzie Ross, dating back to 1936. It has reborn incorporating the highest international standards. The actual golf course extends over a renewed field prepared for 18 holes par 72 (10 holes par 4.4 par 5 and 4 par 3) with 6.308 m.

As a complement, Vidago Palace Golf Course has a Golf Academy with a practice field. The Club House has also reborn as a new project by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira and resulted of the recovery of an old 1886 stone building and has a restaurant, a bar, and a shop.

The golf course of Vidago Palace offers an extensive practice area with a 300 meters length driving range and a Pitching Area.


Golf Club House
The ancient and beautiful stone building (1886), once used to bottle Vidago water, now serves as a Club House. Designed by the architect Alvaro Siza Vieira, the club house has an extremely modern interior decoration. White and large (440 m2 / 4736 ft2)), with straight lines, illuminated at its center by a rectangular skylight, the Club House has a restaurant, a bar, a shop and changing rooms.
